It’s spring…time to do a little (or a lot of…) cleaning, sorting, and organizing, and if you’re anything like me, getting rid of STUFF!
We wanted to let you all know that there is a great opportunity coming up for you to get rid of that stuff, and in the process, help feed some precious children in a slum in Kenya.
On Sat., May 22nd, the Maloys from Grace Community Church will be hosting a yard sale benefit for We Are Kenya (https://wearekenya.com/). All of the proceeds will literally feed children who have experienced hunger as most likely none of us ever have…
If you would like to donate to the sale, contact Rebecca Terenyi at rebecca.terenyi@wearekenya.com and she will put you in contact with the host. At least two of the WAK volunteers will be working the sale, so there is no need to be there yourself that morning (unless you’d like to replace your old stuff with new stuff 😉 – and if you aren’t able to get everything together by the 22nd but would like to donate, there will be more opportunities as the yard sale season continues…so just ask and we will keep you posted.
